A Great Summer read: The Happy Christian

This book has come to my attention several times over these past weeks. Richard Lacey, a Pastor at Woodgreen Evangelical Church in Worcester gives a helpful summary: 'The concept of 'positive faith' is the key theme of the book. Murray shows how this is different from 'positive thinking' and is rooted in understanding and applying gospel truths into our lives. EMMS International Trip to Malawi 2016

Gill Deaves, a member at Newcraigs Church and a Children's Community Nurse with the NHS in Fife talks about her trip to Malawi this August. Gill will be working with local healthcare workers on children's palliative care as part of the EMMS organisation in Malawi. EMMS is based in Edinburgh and promotes 'Health for today is Hope for tomorrow'. Along with the EMMS TriMalawi Challenge, Gill will be supporting local healthcare workers with children's palliative care in Mulanje Mission hospital.
